Ronisha Bhattacharyya
Disability Services Coordinator
Ronisha identifies as a Woman’s Rights Activist. When not advocating for equity and freedom, you may catch her at open mics performing poetry slams on all kinds of social issues.
Ronisha has spent over a decade in the Global South (across New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore) working as a Development Communications Specialist. In the U.K, she is studying Gender and Development at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex. At D&A, Ronisha works as a Disability Services Coordinator in the Operations team, ever so fascinated by the ubiquitous ‘Crab’ analogies used by the Ops team to describe themselves and their work.
At the heart of what Ronisha has done in her career thus far is to tell stories of resilience, grit and ambition, while working for some of the most marginalised and vulnerable people (particularly rural women) in India. When not endlessly swimming through her assignments or challenging her professors, you may find her day dreaming of going back to Fiji Islands or planning travels to remote parts of the world.
