Having taught in schools, colleges and universities for some years, Ruth is very aware of the barriers many students have had to overcome before being accepted on their courses. Ruth believes everyone has the right to participate, learn, enjoy and achieve. Consequently, Ruth is keen for teaching to meet students’ expressed and observed needs.

Ruth aims to provide enjoyable, well-focused learning experiences that maximise students’ strengths. In this way, they gain the confidence and skills to make tasks and studies manageable and to experience success. Ruth has particular expertise in working with speakers of English as an Additional Language and is fluent in several European languages.
