This is strategy based training that will ensure you get the most out of your technology, and you’re able to use it in a way that will transform the way you work.
We can help you develop important strategies that will help you manage different aspects of your role, such as:
- Reading & proofreading
- Writing
- Time management

- Presentations
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Numeracy
We believe that whilst extremely useful, assistive software can be difficult to get your head around. Having specialist training tailored around your needs and your work makes a huge difference in using it effectively.
Our experienced trainers have detailed knowledge of Assistive Technology as well as a vast array of complementary open source and free apps. Training would typically be provided in your place of work and a session usually lasts two to three hours – but that depends on your preference and your allocation of support.
“If my brain is a jigsaw, what I was shown today was one of the missing pieces.
“I can’t begin to explain how overwhelmed I feel after this session. The software Jacob at D&A tutored me on has provided a solution to a problem that I couldn’t articulate but have struggled with for 35 years.”
Michael at D&A is an extremely good teacher. He’s patient and understands my needs completely. In the past I have not had access to this level of support however Michael’s expertise and personal skills go further than one would expect.
