Lissa O’Hare
Study Skills Tutor (SpLD)
Lissa was a neurodiverse university learner before study skills tutors existed and now finds engaging with others, on their journey to achieve all they are capable of, a hugely exciting privilege. Lissa aims to support students in both the development of effective learning strategies and the integration of assistive technologies, which together foster the emergence of independent learning.
Qualifying in 2007, they have since worked with students from the University of Bristol, the University of Warwick, the Open University and many others, having also assessed for DSA in the past.
When not working, Lissa’s time is spent with grandchildren or wild swimming.
