Jamie has over ten years experience working in the education sector. His work has included project coordinator for the Metropolitan Police as Safer Schools Partnership initiative and as lecturer/tutor in Applied Theatre and theatre/performance at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. More recently his work focuses on specialist disability and specific learning differences (SpLDs) support and assessment, mental health mentoring and Assistive Technology training. He is a BACP registered counsellor in private practice (www.jamiecrabbtherapy.com) and is completing his MA in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Minster Centre.

Jamie heads up DnA's Training and Innovations team coordinating and delivering CPD workshops in Higher Education on integrating study strategies and Assistive Technology, and workshops with the charity Crisis utilising low-cost software and apps to support service users literacy and mental health and wellbeing. Jamie has been a visiting lecturer on the PG Certificate Teaching Adult Dyslexic Learners in Further and Higher Education (London Met) and is a previous Executive Committee member of the Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE).
