I'm quite new to Assistive Technology having spent most of my working life in Customer Services or Hospitality. I was introduced to AT (and by extension DnA) by one of our other trainers as I have family members who have learning differences and she was keen to show me how the technology can enrich learning and affect an individual's quality of educational life. I enjoy learning as well as training and every student is able to teach me something new, one day I will be a pub quiz legend! Helping people on their journey through University is a very rewarding experience and I'm very privileged to be able to do the work that I do.
When I'm not working, I can usually be found trying to be creative. I spend quite a lot of my free time knitting or crocheting random items that will never have any use, practical or otherwise! I also enjoy the occasional music festival, motor sports and, being Welsh, watching Rugby.
