Join Diversity and Ability (D&A) alongside other national and international leaders in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion on the 5th & 6th December for a two-day conference at the Hilton Brighton Metropole: “What Inclusion Looks Like”.

Celebrate the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities with the lived-experience experts! D&A is a Brighton-based social enterprise led by and for disabled people. This inaugural event is a unique opportunity to gain authentic insights from those that truly live, feel and understand Disability, Diversity and Inclusion. No more buzzwords; learn about real issues that impact real people!

The D&A teams’ collective lived experiences of disablement provide an unparalleled level of intimacy and authenticity when it comes to levelling-up and forging inclusive practices.

“The D&A community are so excited to be holding our first conference!. We’ll reflect on where we are in our journey to inclusion and, more importantly, how we can step up a gear to create a more inclusive society where differences can be celebrated and individuals will reach their potential,” Says Adam Hyland, Co-founder and Director of Accessibility and Inclusion at Diversity and Ability. “And what better time to come together than in December, so we can celebrate International Day of Disabled People on its 20 year anniversary.”

The team will be joined by a host of industry specialists, from organisations spanning the world of work and higher education, including the United Nations World Food Programme, the NHS, the National Association of Disability Practitioners and many more.

So come and learn from the best, join D&A and friends for two days of workshops, panels, talks and the launch of a landmark accessibility innovation. With accessibility front and centre, you can be assured that this event has been created with diverse needs in mind and your enjoyment and comfort is the number one priority.
