Having been in a variety of different Student Support roles, Ellie has developed a well-rounded understanding of the importance and difference tailored support can provide. Starting out as a note taker and scribe, Ellie eventually moved into the tech side of support and became an AT Trainer. As an AT Trainer, Ellie loves to work one on one with students to help them develop strategies and skills through technology!

Her favourite software to provide training on is Mindview. It’s a simple, but effective, mind mapping tool that helps students develop a variety of academic skills (plus it also gives you and Ellie a chance to explore your favourite subject or topic!). In addition to being an AT Trainer, Ellie is also a Student Inclusion Advisor at one of her local universities. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her hiking up a hill, playing at the arcade, stargazing or relaxing with a cream tea!
