Emma Welsh
Specialist Mentor (MH)
Emma’s work is all about promoting inclusion. Emma has a diploma in Integrative Psychosynthesis counselling and has worked with a diverse range of clients. As an LGBTU youth support worker, they specialise in mental health and are passionate about working creatively to promote positive wellbeing for young people. Emma is now working as an LGBTQ trainer, promoting inclusive practice in schools and healthcare settings.
Emma is a co-director of Open Strings Music in Brighton. As a community music facilitator and trainer, Emma loves using music as a way to connect and create with people of all abilities. They are passionate about working creatively with young people and adults to help them find out more about who they are, build their skills and resources, increase their resilience and realise their abilities and potential.
Emm is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
