Emma Welsh

Specialist Mentor

My work is all about promoting inclusion. I have a diploma in Integrative Psychosynthesis counselling, and have worked with a diverse range of clients. As an LGBTU youth support worker, I specialized in mental health and was passionate about working creatively to promote positive wellbeing for young people. I am now working as an LGBTQ trainer, promoting inclusive practice in schools and healthcare settings.

I’m a co-director of Open Strings Music in Brighton.  As a community music facilitator and trainer, I love using music as a way to connect and create with people of all abilities.

I’m passionate about working creatively with young people and adults to help them find out more about who they are, build their skills and resources, increase their resilience and realise their abilities and potential.

I’m a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
