Study Skills Tutor (SpLD)
I bring a wealth of experience in the education sector to this role, having worked in most sectors as a teacher, tutor, study skills support worker and assessor. I work a lot in FE and support institutions in getting access arrangements right. Having gone through the SpLD diagnosis process quite late in life, I am committed to supporting people to get the best educational experience they can, learn about themselves, and crack into their potential. I enjoy the collaborative nature of study support work and see it as a partnership. I have gained a degree in Literary and Historical Studies, Post Grad Certificates in Secondary English Education, and Teaching/Asssessing Learners with Dyslexia, an MA in Global Sociology, and lately I completed an HNC in textiles; focusing on woven cloth.
