Liezl Bosch

Inclusion Consultant

Pronouns: she/her

Liezl is very pleased to be joining the wonderful D&A community effort to make workplaces more diverse and welcoming as an Inclusion Consultant. Her own background has been a rather broad mix of academic studies–in business, French, theology, philosophy, and psychology–and professional work in corporate as well as non-profit settings. Most recently, she worked as co-director of a US-based organisation offering support for the practical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people affected by cancer. She also directed a daily afterschool programme for 12-14 year-olds. In both academic and professional settings, she has been concerned with respect for individual difference and dignity, as well as the ways in which theory and lived experience speak to one another.

Outside of these interests, Liezl–pronounced like “Weasel” with an “L”–is very serious about perfecting her morning porridge, slightly less serious about lifting things at the gym, and most serious about spending time with great people (preferably somewhere beautiful, preferable with coffee).
