Liz Holdstock
Study Skills Tutor (SpLD)
Pronouns: she/her
Liz joined Diversity and Ability as a SpLD Study Skills Tutor in April 2022 when she decided to move on from her post at Writtle University College, where she had worked for 16 years. Writtle University College is a land-based college offering courses such as agriculture, horticulture, sports, and equine; so she enjoyed various practical aspects during her time there. Liz initially supported students in Further Education and has provided study skills sessions to students in Higher Education since 2015. She uses her experience and skills to find the best ways to tailor individual study skills sessions and also to continue learning new things herself.
To relax, Liz enjoys cycling trips together with her husband on their tandem, camping trips in their VW campervan, and working on crochet projects.
