Hi! I bring bags of enthusiasm to my sessions and a deep desire to enable learning. I’m synaesthetic (you say a word, and I see colour), which has given me an insight into learning differently. Wherever possible I use a multi-sensory approach to my sessions and resources.
I have found that tailoring sessions in a way which will allow a student’s own individual learning style to flourish will turn that learning style into their greatest strength; as a result students feel more confident to learn independently. I am proud to be part of D&A, supporting young people in enjoying and maximising their learning with as little frustration as possible.
I am also a musician with very broad listening tastes, playing in bands and calling for ceilidhs, and have also recently discovered a love for beating copper!
