Lucy has a BA (Hons) in Education Studies and English Literature from Northumbria University, a PGCE from the University of Central Lancashire and a Postgraduate Certificate in Structured Teaching Intervention for Dyslexia and Literacy.

Lucy has worked in education since 2004, a large part of which was spent teaching within the Further Education sector before moving into more support-based roles. She feels strongly about access to education and enabling students to harness their skills and talents to achieve their goals.

In her free time, she loves to crochet and creates her own patterns, garden and loves a good book.
