Nick Madejczyk

Study Skills Tutor (SpLD)

Nick has recently been working as a Support Tutor at two London universities, which they have really enjoyed. Watching learners grow in confidence and become noticeably more independent in their learning, for Nick, is indescribably rewarding. Prior to this, Nick worked in a large London College of Further Education, where they worked as a tutor with students with learning disabilities but also as a 1:1 SpLD Tutor. Another of their roles was as a Teaching and Learning Coach, with responsibility for staff training and development. Nick is a keen advocate of the social model for diversity and enjoys helping others to navigate obstacles to reaching their full potential.

Otherwise, Nick enjoys walking heir dogs and is a keen fell walker. Nick has been practising yoga and playing tennis for their local club. They enjoy travelling which, among other things, Nick sees as an opportunity to sample different cuisine. They enjoy cooking and entertaining, particularly at home.
