I have been working as a Support Tutor at two London universities over the last year, which I have really enjoyed. Watching the Learners grow in confidence and become noticeably more independent in their learning, for me, is indescribably rewarding. Prior to this, I worked in a large London College of Further Education, where I worked as a tutor with students with learning disabilities but also as a 1:1 SpLD Tutor. Another of my roles was as a Teaching and Learning Coach, with responsibility for staff training and development. I am a keen advocate of the social model for diversity, and I enjoy helping others to navigate obstacles to reaching their full potential.

Otherwise, I enjoy walking my dogs and I am a keen fell walker. In the last year, I have been practising yoga and I play tennis for my local club. I enjoy travelling which, among other things, I see as an opportunity to sample different cuisine. I enjoy cooking and entertaining, particularly at home.
