Olivia Elford

Inclusion Consultant

Pronouns: She / Her

Olivia has a background in the arts with a Diploma and BA(Hons) in Contemporary Dance from Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. After graduating she branched out into the Mental Health world, volunteering with Mind/Workplace Leeds delivering a “Confidence for work” course. This is where her passion for training and facilitation began. Olivia then completed a Masters in The Psychology of Education at The University of Manchester before moving back to her home-turf down South, near Brighton.

After working in Suicide Prevention for a couple of years Olivia decided to go freelance to allow time to pursue all the work she feels passionately about while maintaining a work/life balance. She now works freelance as a suicide prevention trainer and a mental health arts consultant and is delighted to add the role of Inclusion Consultant for Diversity and Ability to her work.

In her free time Olivia enjoys DIY and is always looking for more renter-friendly ways to decorate her home. She has recently ordered a ridiculous amount of peel and stick vinyl and so will be spending the foreseeable future smoothing the bubbles out of every surface she can stick it to.
