Sarah has over 24 years’ experience working within the Social Model of Disability, promoting rights and inclusion for Disabled People. She has worked in Health and Social Care, Charitable and Private Sectors.
Her key roles have been as a Formal Advocate and Mental Capacity Advocate, Person-Centred Planner, and Disability Rights, Equality & Inclusion Trainer, alongside working as a Business Development Manager around Independent Living.
Sarah’s roles have been about inclusion, co-production and holistic person-centred thinking and planning. This is driven by her own lived experiences and accessing services.
Outside work Sarah enjoys gardening, yoga, music and kayaking.
